Corona

Corona was born of my desire to create something suitable for yarn from our longwool/lustre breeds: Wensleydale, Teeswater, Cotswold, Lincoln, Border Leicester. It’s also appropriate for yarn from llamas and suri alpaca. Designed to be lightweight but hardwearing, Corona shows off a worsted-spun yarn beautifully. It’s my go-to sweater for travel.

Etéreo

I am thrilled that Knitty has decided to publish this design. It’s a lightweight, summery shift. (Etéreo is “ethereal” in Spanish.) I wear it as a nightgown; others might choose to wear it as a dress. There are so many ways to make this design your own: choose spaghetti or tank-top straps, two colors or many more, yarn of any fiber and make it as short or long as you like.

Take a look at the Spring/Summer Issue of Knitty to find the (free) pattern. Enjoy!

North Country Flowers

North Country Flowers incorporates several of Scotland’s delightful wildflowers into a hat & mitts you can wear in cold weather — or when a summer’s hike takes a sudden turn for the wet and chilly. The pattern requires experience with two-color stranded knitting, chart reading, duplicate stitch, knitting in the round and picking up stitches. Sizing is offered in Adult Women’s S/M and L/XL. It’s a delightful way to wander among the flowers… in a knitterly manner of speaking. Designed as part of Rowan Tree Travel’s Armchair Travel Knit Kits series.
